Mental Health Signposting

Speak with our mental health advisor and be sign-posted to a mental health service near you

Our trained mental health advisors will talk to you, assess your symptoms and sign-post you to the service most appropriate for your concern. They will take your personal preferences into account, for example, you may prefer talking therapy over medication. Once an appropriate mental health service has been identified our patient support team will help you access that service.

Mental Health Signposting at Archway Medical Centre

In recent years the NHS has set up a range of services to meet the needs of people with a mental health concern. While this is a great development, it can be confusing for a patient to decide which local service is most appropriate for their mental health concern.

  • Step 1
Complete an online form with your symptoms after speaking with one of our receptionists.
  • Step 2
Consult with our mental health advisor for a recommendation of an appropriate local mental health service for you.
  • Step 3
Access the recommended service with help from Archway Medical Centre’s patient support team.

You can choose to consult with a Archway Medical Centre GP at any time about any symptom or concern and your treatment options.
Our mental health advisor has received mental health training and their advice to patients is overseen by an NHS psychiatrist.
