In many cases of pain it is best to avoid strong pain-killing medication and instead manage symptoms by building up the muscles and soft-tissues around the painfull joint. Our physiotherapists will examine your joint movements and observe you walk on video and recommend appropriate exercises.

If the physiotherapist feels you need an MRI scan or other tests they will work with one of our GPs to arrange this for you. If you do need strong pain-killing medication despite physiotherapy our GPs will prescribe this.

How does our Physiotherapy Clinic work?

  • Step 1:
See our physiotherapist online for assessment and instruction on appropriate exercises.
  • Step 2:
If your symptoms persist see our GP for tests such as an MRI scan.
  • Step 3:
Consult with our GP for review and possible referral to an orthopaedic specialist.

No, all our advice is free of charge provided to you on the NHS.
We are a multi-professional team of physiotherapists, doctors, and nurses. If physio does not relieve your pain our GP will arrange appropriate tests such as an MRI scan and any prescription you need for pain relief.
