Appointments

Urgent appointments

To request a urgent appointment for today or tomorrow (Monday – Friday):

When you contact us, we’ll ask you a few questions about what you need help with so we can ensure you are directed to the right clinician, whether that’s a doctor, nurse, or another healthcare professional.

Non-urgent advice:

We use triage to assess the urgency of each appointment request, ensuring patients with the most pressing needs are seen first. This helps us manage time effectively and provide safe, timely care.

Routine appointments

Triage section  – In line with national guidance from NHS England, parts of general practice moved to a digitally enabled ‘total triage’ system during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Total triage meant all patient requests were screened remotely before being directed to an appropriate pathway, consultation type or signposted to the correct clinician.

Virtually continues to promote and offers online consultations. This means triage will continue to be digitally enabled for the foreseeable future.

To request a routine appointment in the next 7 days:

  • Use our Online Triage Service – Virtually Consult
  • Phone us on 020 7272 0111, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.30pm
  • Use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App) to book a screening test or vaccination

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:

Home visits

While the surgery is usually the best place for appointments to take place we understand that some patients cannot come in.

To request a home visit, please phone the practice as soon after 8am as possible.

You will be asked a few questions regarding the reason for the appointment this will then be passed over to a doctor to assess.

Once the doctor has made a clinical decision, one of our practice team members will contact you with an update.
